DESIGN PROCESS

The onsite design service is a collaborative approach. We take time to get to know you, the space, your needs and objectives. We take you through each design phase and remain in contact with you throughout.

Once the design is complete, depending on location, we will regularly be onsite to review the progress of the works.

CONSULTATION

The design process starts with a consultation and, depending on location, a site visit. Following this, you will receive a project proposal which outlines the design process, summary of your objectives for the space and a fee structure.

CONCEPT DESIGN

After the initial consultation, we will produce 2D floor plans, mood boards and concept boards. This stage focuses mainly on the layout. We want to maximise the space as much as possible. We will also look at design styles and colour schemes.

DESIGN REFINEMENT

We take the chosen concept and start on the design. We suggest furniture selections, lighting options, materials, colour schemes and accessories. We will produce 3D style visuals to give a sense of the finished space.

TECHNICAL DRAWINGS

This part of the design process looks at lighting and electrical needs. We will create a lighting and electrical plan. If you are having any bespoke cabinetry/kitchen we can work with the supplier on your behalf.

IMPLEMENTATION PLANNING

Furniture, lighting and material details are agreed. You will receive a shopping list with direct links to the products with information on time leads and trade discount offers.

This is the final stage of the design process. We offer regular site visits, depending on location, whilst works are going on and to help with styling.
