This London bedroom redesign was about creating a space that could truly grow with its young owner — practical enough for everyday use, but designed with longevity and style in mind.

The brief was simple but challenging: fit in a bed, a large wardrobe, and a desk, all within a compact room, while still celebrating the stunning original stained glass sash window — the true focal point of the space.

I designed bespoke joinery to maximise every inch, integrating storage seamlessly while keeping the room light and uncluttered. The desk was built to frame the sash window, turning it into a natural feature that makes homework and creativity a joy. The clean lines, soft blush tones, and playful touches keep the space youthful while still feeling timeless.

The result is a smart, multifunctional bedroom that balances practicality with period charm — proving that even the trickiest layouts can be transformed with thoughtful design.
